Dennis Schoemehl
President and Chief Executive Officer
Dennis is a seasoned logistics professional with more than 30 years of industry experience. He began his logistics career as a sales representative for leading freight carrier, Roadway Express in 1974. Shortly thereafter, he joined the sales team at Consolidated Freightways and spent the next 15 years rapidly advancing his career. During this time he served many major corporations, including Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Emerson Electric Company, Monsanto Company and BASF Corp.In 1996 Dennis formed LMS and, under his leadership, the company has experienced unprecedented growth; in 2006 LMS was recognized as one of the 500 fastest growing private companies in the country by Inc. magazine. For the past four years, LMS has been named one of the fastest growing private companies in St. Louis by the St. Louis Business Journal. By embracing technology and fostering a creative work environment, he has helped to create a company that continues to be recognized for its innovative and effective logistics practices, as well as its Web-enabled technology services. In 2004 Dennis was named an "Entrepreneur of The Year" by Ernst & Young in the category of "Realizing business potential through technology," which was presented by Microsoft. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO.

John McHugh
Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer
A logistics industry veteran, John has more than 30 years of experience in transportation management and operations. As co-owner and COO of LMS, he is responsible for shaping the company's technological vision and providing leadership for its cutting-edge logistics initiatives. He specializes in creating simple and efficient programs for companies with complex transportation processes. He then customizes these programs to ensure their operational success in the field.Before joining LMS, John spent 18 years with Roadway Express. During this time, John held various management positions and set company-wide records for operational productivity and profitability. In 1990, he resigned from Roadway to purchase Bulk Haulers Inc., a St. Louis-based specialized hauling company. Within one year, he converted this unprofitable company into a profitable one. He then used it to launch three vertically integrated and successful businesses, including a transportation brokerage. In 2004 John was named an "Entrepreneur of The Year" by Ernst & Young in the category of "Realizing business potential through technology," which was presented by Microsoft. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL.

Tracy Meetre
Director of Sales & Marketing
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Tracy works with prospective clients to identify transportation management technology and solutions that will meet shippers' unique business goals. Previously, she served as LMS' director of information technology and played a vital role in the development of the company's award-winning transportation management system, TOTAL. Her technical background and broad knowledge of TOTAL enables her to recommend Web-based solutions that seamlessly interface with shippers' existing systems.Previously, Tracy was a consultant for LMS and before joining the company, Tracy was a logistics business analyst for a St. Louis-based logistics provider. In this position, she was responsible for the integration, configuration and implementation of their planning, scheduling, and direct payment system. Prior to that, Tracy spent several years as a national account executive for Cass Information Systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Missouri State University. Tracy has been with LMS since 1998.

Jason Lind
Director of Finance & Pricing
As Director of Finance & Pricing, Jason manages LMS’ financial plans and policies, its accounting practices and its partnerships within the financial community. He also works closely with our sales and operations departments to create pricing strategies for clients and prospective clients. In addition to his financial capabilities, Jason offers more than 15 years of logistics experience.Prior to joining LMS, Jason held various transportation management positions at Emerson. As a transportation analyst, Jason was instrumental in developing and implementing cost reduction programs for this Fortune 200 company. As a division traffic manager, Jason was responsible for managing domestic and international transportation while maintaining a $15 million annual transportation budget. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial administration from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., and a master’s degree in business administration from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. He has been with LMS since 1997.

Peter Zdrodowski
Director of Technology Development
Peter has more than 13 years of design and development experience, which includes extensive work with supply chain and manufacturing software applications. As LMS' Director of Technology Development, he oversees an information technology staff of eight and plays a pivotal role in designing new applications for the company's Web-native transportation management system, TOTAL.Previously, Peter spent 12 years at G. A. Sullivan-Avanade in St. Louis. During this time he developed applications for a variety of companies, including Monsanto, Maritz and Anheuser-Busch. Prior to that, he owned a consulting business. Peter holds a bachelor's degree in math from St. Louis University, as well as a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in system science engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. He has been with LMS since 2004, and worked with LMS as a consultant prior for two years.

Greg Mecey
Director of Supply Chain - Central Region
As LMS' Director of Supply Chain for the Central Region, Greg is responsible for leading a team of 25 transportation planners and account managers to ensure clients' on-time service and cost reduction goals are safely met. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Greg excels at establishing viable operating procedures and strategic KPIs to create and execute improved transportation processes. He also directs pricing and carrier studies that enable clients to manage their resources more effectively.Working alongside his operations team, Greg translates client goals into measurable staff objectives. He also leads LMS-client discussions that result in continuous improvement initiatives. During his career, Greg has held a variety of management positions and boasts vast transportation, distribution and production scheduling experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in business logistics from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. Greg has been with LMS since 1997.

Mike O'Brien
Director of Dedicated ServicesMike's 30-year career comprises a variety of transportation management experience that uniquely qualifies him to serve as LMS' Director of Dedicated Services. In this position, he is responsible for directing the operations and the growth of the Dedicated Services group, which manages LMS' transactional freight business through a network of North American carrier partners. Mike excels at recruiting, training and retaining quality staff members to effectively support client accounts.
Previously, he served as president of a St. Louis-based brokerage, freight payment and logistics company with 14 domestic offices. Prior to that, Mike spent five years as Hub Group's director of transportation and general manager of quality services. He also spent 16 years with Consolidated Freightways where he held various operations and sales management positions. Additionally, Mike was partial owner of an intermodal marketing company and a private fleet of 50 trucks. He is a graduate of the Advanced Academy of Traffic in New York City.
