Transportation Planner
New Brunswick & Edison, NJ
We are seeking a Transportation Load Planner to manage freight activities for one of our Fortune 100 clients.
Job responsibilities include identifying orders for truckload consolidation and performing consolidation using a TMS (Transportation Management System), managing freight carriers in regards to cost, service, capacity, etc., and creating shipping plans to ensure safe, on-time and low-cost deliveries. The Planner will work in coordination with our client’s customer services and/or logistics professionals. Some travel is possible.
To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access), have SAP experience and the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize duties under pressure. Some transportation/logistics experience is preferred and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction is essential.

Marine Transportation Planner
Edison, NJ
Our Eastern Region Division currently has challenging opportunities for ambitious self-starters to work in a Marine Command Center start-up at a client location in Edison, NJ.
Job responsibilities include managing the efficient flow of cargo and information on behalf of the client, proactively managing supply chain activities to avoid operational issues, providing timely resolution to issues that may occur, monitoring and analyzing contract Key Performance Indicators, ensure compliance with SOPs, and continually evaluate and review operations to identify cost efficiencies and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You’ll also manage IT systems and other communications between LMS and the client in a large-scale Import/Export operation.
To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access), have SAP knowledge and the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize duties under pressure. At least 1-3 years of experience in client account management (or similar background in the transportation or logistics industry) is preferred.
